Hi, sorry for the delay, it's been a hectic few weeks, but Happy Pre-Thanksgiving to everyone.  I started my shopping early last weekend during my trip to Orlando for the Classic weekend.  There isn't a Zara in Jacksonville, so that was the first place I wanted to go while there.  The Florida Mall was packed with people, I tasted what was known as the best cinnamon roll on earth, and after that first bite, I have to agree.  It was so good, we went back the next day for another.  I had a very nice with my family, it was a well needed getaway.  

Hair talk
The salon was packed and honestly I was too lazy to go out into the cold, so I decided to do a protective on my own over the weekend.  My hair was washed/conditioned using Keracare shampoo and conditioner for natural textures.  I then individually twisted my hair, let try overnight, and pinned it all up the next morning unraveling a few in the front.  Do you like how my style came out and/or my outfit of the day?  If so, like this post and please feel free to leave comments below.

Today is Election Day and I just noticed I'm representing our President Obama today by wearing blue.  I hope everyone has made their vote count today and if you haven't there is still time to get to the polls.   On to the outfit of the day.  I've been in love with back buttons lately, so I when I saw this shirt at Express I had to have it.  I also purchased a cute neutral colored stripe one for my mom, stayed tuned, i may make her take a photo to show it off.  I wore this shirt with a pair of blue pants I've had for a very long time and my Jessica Simpson flats.
For my jewelry, I'm wearing the Viola Turquoise earrings and the Gwyneth bracelet from my shop LithoChic.

Finding something new in an everyday area is what my friend, Ms Foxxy, and I ran into while taking our daily Look of the day pictures.  I love the scenery, it's so peaceful, pretty, and surprisingly secluded.   I had another outfit planned for today, but the oxford heels I ordered were a little to small and had to be returned for a bigger size.  As a result, I decided to start my week off bright, relaxed, and casual with a studded denim shirt from Forever 21, a pair of skinny purple jeans from Express, and my new Jessica Simpson black flats.  I purchased the bag months ago from Shoedazzle.
The weather is changing, so I've been looking for some protective styles that will protect my ends and save me time during the week.  My hair was twisted by my Aunt Chauncey, owner of L&A's, I love it, it's so very neat and should last 2 or so weeks.  Want this hairstyle or something similiar?  Check out L&A's here in Jacksonville Fl @ 904-635-4207    

Another fun day of picture taking, new location spots, and a few bumps and bruises along the way.  Today was a little breezier than normal and the table area caused a minor injury to my friend Ms Foxxy, but we brought out our inner Tyra Banks to make it through smiles on our faces. lol 

I didn't have time to retwist my hair the night before, so I used the MsVaughn & Meechy Monroe's recent Youtube video for inspiration.  My finished result a cute protective styled updo that still allowed my texture to come through.  The fun part about Fall are the various ways we can remain fashionable while keeping warm.  I purchased this sweater dress last year, but didn't get to wear it much, so it was the first item that came to mind this morning.  This particular one isn't available, but I saw similiar dresses that I will note below.  See below to get the look
